What Is Your Why?

What is your why?

It’s an early week day morning. You have so much to do. S o much to get done but you’re tired mentally and physically.

[From the time you have awaken there’s is a five minute slot. During those five minutes you have the decision to either stay in bed all day or get up and get going].

At the last second you make the choice to get up and take care of business. Now, think to yourself. Why did you decide to get up? What made you want to get up and be productive?

Is it because you have something to prove? Or is it because you want to better yourself? Maybe you want to continue to prove everyone who doubted you wrong.

Whatever your why may be, never let it go. Use it to add fuel to your fire. Use it to keep pushing yourself beyond yours limits and you will reach new ones! If you have no clue what is your what/why, whenever you have free time have a talk with yourself and God and find it. Dig deep!!! Find it and hold on to it forever!

Remain Humble!

God blessed each and every one of us with something special. Rather it’s being great at a sport, playing an instrument, dancing etc. We often get so caught into how good we are at something that we forget that God was the one who blessed us with those gifts. The Bible states in Romans 12:6 that we all have gifts and we are to use them. Not for ourselves but for him.

We tend to not remain humble and use our God given talents to bash others. We tend to want to use the gifts God have us for our glory instead of his. Instead of using the gifts God gave us all for our own glory, we should remain humble and remember who gave us our gifts. We should use our gifts to help others and to bring him glory.

Use What You Got!

I once heard a pastor say, “You have to use what you got in order to get what you want.” There’s going to come a point in your life when you’re going to want this and going to want that but you’re not going to be able to get those things because you don’t have the things that’s needed to obtain them.

For instance, in today’s time you have to have money for just about everything. If you want to start your own business, you need money to jump start it. Sometimes you just have to use what you already have. If you don’t have enough money to do something that you really want to do, save money and use what you save to get started. Use social media to put yourself out there and let your friends and family know what you’re trying to do. Social media is a very popular base to start any business, it’ll probably get you started faster. Also, another idea could be to use flyers, use what you have and promote vocally! If you want to learn more about a particular thing, use the knowledge that you already have and expand it. The more knowledge you have the better.

Don’t give up on your dreams because you’re lacking something that’s going to help you achieve those dreams. Sit and think about what you already have use ’em. Put ’em to use and continue to chase after your dreams.

Have No FEAR!!!

Your body is shaking, palms are beginning to sweat, and it feels like your heart has plummeted inside your stomach. You’re legs have become so weak, every step you take feels like your knees are going to crumble underneath you.

What you are experiencing is called Fear.

Instead of letting fear take over you body use it as motivation. Instead of letting fear be the cause of what’s stopping you use it to catapult you forward. If you can overcome fear you can overcome anything!

Get Out Your Comfort Zone!

It’s so many things you want in you’re life that you’ve never had before. It’s many things that you want to do but….to acquire what you want, you have to do something that you’ve never done before.

Before you make the decision to just say forget it and not go for what you want let me say this…..DON’T BE AFRAID TO COME OUT OF YOUR COMFORT ZONE TO ACHIEVE WHAT YOU WANT IN LIFE! The longer you continue to reside in your comfort zone the more opportunities will pass you by. You should be more willing and open to try new things. I’ve learned this from experience.

I wanted so much in life but in order to acquire what I wanted I had to come out of my comfort zone. So that’s exactly what I did and so many opportunities started flowing. Don’t miss your opportunity because you want to stay stuck in your comfort zone. Come out of it and take heed of opportunities. I promise you will not regret it.

Stop Worrying, Give It To God

The Bible states in Matthew 6:25-34 says, “Do not be worried about your life, as what you will eat or what you will drink. Nor about your body and what you will put on. Life is more than food and body more than clothing. Seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness and all these things will be added to you.”

There’s been times now when I’ve been down to my absolute last. Didn’t know where or who to turn too. One day I decided to stop my worrying and give everything to God. That was the best choice I’ve ever made. So many of my prayers began to get answered and so many blessings and opportunities started raining down on me.

With all the good things that started happening in my life, it made me a firm believer that the more you worry about something the only thing your doing is not trusting God but the second you choose to stop worrying and leave everything in his hands, tremendous things will began to happen in your life!

He might not come right away when you want him, but he is always an on time GOD!

Healthier life, Better Confidence

As I stated in the beginning, my confidence was at an all time low mainly because of how my life was going. Downhill was the only direction it was going. I needed something that was going to uplift my spirit and get me going. As I also stated in the beginning I made the decision and live a life that’s closer to God. That was only step one of process.

What’s Step 2?

Step 2 involved me getting into the best shape as possible to perform in front of Professional football scouts. I needed help with this transformation so a good friend but more like a brother offered to help reach this goal. We began in January. We trained every single day. A lot of hardworking, consistency and dedication was put into the process.

Unfortunately, I sustained an injury that didn’t allow me to perform in front of the pro scouts. I was heart broken and thought all that work I put in was for nothing.

I was wrong!

All that work that was put in didn’t go in vain. After three months of vigorous training and not being showcase my talents to the scouts, I thought to myself. Why should I stop just because things didn’t go my way? I’ve reached my limits plenty of times while but always managed to find new limits every single time.

I made a choice to continue consistently working out. It gave me the opportunity to push my mind and body beyond their new limits. Now I have the body that I’ve always wanted since a kid. Living the healthy lifestyle raised my confidence level ten fold. I’m not that shy, butter ball looking guy no more. Now, I’m more of a “fear doesn’t stop me” type of guy. And I’m loving it!
